Trapezoidal screws and nuts

Kammerer’s trapezoidal screws are available in nearly all dimensions.

• Trapezoidal screws to DIN 103, tolerance class 7e and other desired tolerance classes
• Standard materials are C15, C45, 9SMn28K and 42CRMo4V
• Other tolerances and materials, pitches and trapezoidal screws with multiple threads
• Standard lengths are 1m, 1.5m, 2m, 3m and 6m
• For other lengths, please enquire.
• Two quality grades available: 1 and 2

Due to friction, trapezoidal screw drives have a much lower efficiency than ball screw drives, but are less complex and less expensive. Because they are inherently self-locking, trapezoidal screws rarely need a separate locking mechanism, such as a brake. Kammerer trapezoidal screws and nuts are rugged and can be tailored to specific requirements.
